This page explains how VORIQ AGRO TRADING PRIVATE LIMITED ("Voriq Agro", "we", "us") handles personal data when you browse or shop on https://voriqagro.in: what we collect, what we use it for, who else sees it, how long we hold on to it and what you can ask us to do. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 along with its rules. Using the website means you accept this policy.

What do we collect when you shop with us?
Things you tell us
- When you sign up: your name, an email address that we confirm with a one-time password, and a password that we keep only as a hash. Mobile number, birthday and gender are optional extras.
- When you check out: billing and delivery addresses, a mobile number, the items and pack sizes in the order, any coupon, notes you add and the way you chose to pay.
- When a product arrives wrong: the return or replacement reason, your description and the photos of the product and its pack that you upload.
- When you review, message us or subscribe: the text you write, and the email address you sign up to the newsletter with.
- What you tell us about your kitchen: dietary needs such as gluten-free or diabetic-friendly, allergies or favourite brands shared in a review or message are used only to help you choose. Processing an order never needs medical records or detailed health information, so please keep those to yourself.
Things we record automatically
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and the pages viewed, held in server logs to keep the site safe, for instance by slowing down repeated login attempts.
- Cookies: explained further down this page.
What about my payment details?
Razorpay and our UPI payment gateway process online payments. They tell us whether a payment went through and give us a transaction reference. Your card number, CVV, netbanking password and UPI PIN stay with them; nobody at Voriq Agro ever sees or keeps them.
Why do we need it?
- Setting up and protecting your account, which includes sending OTPs.
- Packing, dispatching and delivering orders, and dealing with cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds.
- Emailing order confirmations and status changes, and reaching you if an order runs into trouble.
- Replying to questions, complaints and grievances.
- Stopping fraud, fake orders, coupon abuse and attacks on the site.
- Telling you about launches and offers, but only once you have subscribed to the newsletter.
- Keeping GST invoices and other records that tax and accounting laws require.
Who else gets to see it?
Only those who need a piece of it to do their job:
- Couriers receive your name, address and mobile number so they can drop off or collect a parcel.
- Payment partners receive the order amount, its reference and your contact details so they can collect a payment or send a refund back.
- Hosting and email providers run our website and mailbox, and may use data only as we instruct.
- Brands and their distributors may be told the product, batch number and what went wrong when you report a quality or safety problem. Your name and contact details go to them only if you agree.
- Government bodies and law enforcement where the law or a court requires it, or to prevent fraud or harm.
How long do we keep it?
- Account data stays for as long as the account remains open.
- Orders and invoices stay for the period tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 8 years.
- Messages, grievance records and return photos stay until the issue is closed and any legal requirement has been met.
- Your newsletter address stays until you unsubscribe.
How is it kept safe?
Every page is served over HTTPS. We hash passwords and OTPs, encrypt payment gateway keys and allow only authorised staff to open customer records. Still, no website can promise perfect security, so pick a strong password and don't share it with anyone.
Does the site use cookies?
Just two, and both are essential. A session cookie keeps you logged in and remembers what is in your bag, and a security cookie protects forms from forgery. We run no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If your browser blocks cookies, signing in and checking out will not work.
What can you ask us to do?
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you these rights:
- See and correct: edit your profile, email, password and saved addresses whenever you like in My account.
- Erase: email akhileshlsingh05@gmail.com to have your account and personal data deleted. Anything the law makes us retain, such as invoices, is kept.
- Withdraw consent: to stop marketing emails, write to akhileshlsingh05@gmail.com from the address you subscribed with. Emails about your account and open orders will still come through.
- Complain: take any concern about how we handle your data to our Grievance Officer, listed at the end of this page.
- Nominate: name another person who can use these rights on your behalf.
Every request gets an answer within 30 days.
Can children use the website?
The website is intended for adults, and anyone under 18 should use it together with a parent or guardian. Baby-care items are bought by grown-ups for their little ones, and we do not knowingly collect a child's data without that consent.
Will this policy change?
When our practices or the law change, this page is updated. The date at the bottom tells you which version you are reading.
