About this product
- 100% Sulfur-Free Desi Khand
- Herbal Clarification
- Cooling Ayurvedic Properties
- Rich in Trace Minerals
Voriq Organic Desi Khand is crafted through traditional Indian open-pan sugarcane juice evaporation in Uttar Pradesh. Unlike factory white sugar that is clarified with toxic sulfur dioxide and bone char, Desi Khand is cleared with natural herbal okra extracts. Features a delicate pale cream crystal with a mild, delightful caramel aroma and pleasant natural sweetness.
Revered in Ayurvedic texts as a cooling (sheetal) natural sweetener that balances Pitta dosha and soothes acidity. Contains natural trace minerals like calcium, iron, and magnesium that are typically eliminated during industrial refining. Dissolves smoothly into morning tea, coffee, nimbu pani, and festive sweets like kheer, panjiri, and traditional laddus.
Free from synthetic bleaching chemicals, free-flowing agents, or artificial chemical additives. Hygienically sieved and packed in heavy-duty food-grade pouches that protect against moisture clumping. Store in a clean, airtight container in a dry kitchen area.
