Mithila Phool Makhana

• Mithila (Bihar) GI Quality
• Jumbo Popped Size
• Low Calorie & Zero Cholesterol
• Sacred Vrat Superfood

Voriq Mithila Phool Makhana is harvested from the freshwater aquatic ponds of Mithila, Bihar, the global hub of foxnuts. These popped water lily seeds are expertly hand-graded to deliver jumbo, round, and uniformly popped kernels. Foxnuts are revered in traditional Indian culinary wisdom as a light yet deeply nourishing food during religious fasts.

With virtually zero cholesterol and negligible saturated fat, they are an ideal snack for weight control regimens. They contain natural kaempferol, an active flavonoid antioxidant known to support anti-aging and cellular health. Roast them in a spoonful of pure desi cow ghee with a dash of pink salt and black pepper for a wholesome snack.

They also make delicious creamy makhana kheer or rich festive gravies like khoya makhana and matar makhana curry. Double-cleaned and packed in moisture-proof pouches to maintain super-crisp texture right out of the bag. Keep sealed in an airtight container immediately after opening to protect against damp air and sogginess.
