Small pale-gold foxtail millet grains, cleaned and sorted but left unpolished.
Cooks much like rice in about one part grain to two and a half parts water, and takes to upma, pongal and khichdi. Rinse once before cooking.
Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
